Administrators manage the overall event structure. They sign in through the Administrator login using an email address and password, followed by a one-time password.

Administrator-only actions include:

  • Creating and deleting events.
  • Creating and deleting rooms.
  • Inviting Event Producers to an event.
  • Removing Event Producers from an event.

An event or room cannot be deleted while one of its rooms is live.

Event Producers sign in through the Producer login using an invited email address and a one-time password. They see only the events assigned to them.

Their work includes room configuration, ingest preparation, live operation, audience access, dictionaries, and transcripts. Start with the Event Producer guide.

Attendees do not use an account. They enter a room through a tokenized QR code or room link, select one of the languages configured for that room, and choose which available content to use.

Depending on the room, the attendee controls can include:

  • Original-language transcription.
  • Translated captions.
  • Original or translated audio.
  • Live video.
  • Font, text-size, and contrast preferences.

See the Attendee guide.
