Event Producer

List of Events: Displays all events the producer has access to.
Access Event: Click any event to manage its details and view its rooms.

Overview

The Event Producer is an authenticated role in volo, responsible for configuring audio ingest, streaming, and the End User experience.

Invitation:
Event Producers receive an invitation via email with a unique link to access the app.
Login:
The invitation link opens the login page.
OTP Verification:
After entering their email address, the Event Producer receives a one-time password (OTP) via email, which must be entered at the login screen to proceed.

Upon successful login, Event Producers gain access the Admin Console:

Edit Event Details:
- Title
- Description
- Logo (upload/update)
Room Management:
- List all Rooms associated with the event
- View Live/Offline status of the Rooms

Edit Room Details:
- Title
- Description
End User Access Tools:
- View/download QR code for the End User page
- Copy direct link to End User access page
Sponsor Integration:
- Add/Update Room Sponsor (Logo & Name)

Audio Input Selection:
Choose from available audio input devices via dropdown.
Input Test:
Record a 5-second sample and play it back to verify the source audio.
Start/Stop Streaming
- Press Start to begin streaming audio to the backend (transcription, translation, TTS initiated for end users)
- Button toggles to Stop to end streaming

Only users granted Event Producer privileges via invitation may access these features.
Producers can only see and manage events they’re assigned to.
